A woman in her late 50’s who is bothered by splitting of her earlobe but also by a droopy appearance of the ear lobe.
An ear lobe “lift” was performed. An imaginary point is held below the ear lobe and the lobe is swung back and forth, with the excess being marked as a wedge. After excision and repair, this corrects the excess and “lifts” the ear lobe. She is shown just before and again, 10 months later when she returned for repiercing. I typically repierce the ear at 3 months but her schedule did not allow this.
